The life of an office worker is full of routine, and the only entertainment for him, strange as it may seem, is sleep. Kazuhiro Kitase enjoys going to sleep to immerse himself in amazing dreams that have been haunting him since childhood. These dreams are so detailed that he truly becomes involved in thrilling adventures, even more exciting than anything he has seen in movies. One night, a charming elf starts appearing in his dreams persistently and invites him on joint journeys. Kazuhiro cannot refuse such pleasure.
And when they embark on a long journey, they encounter a rather aggressive dragon that breathes fire at them. Due to this turn of events, the hero immediately wakes up and is astonished to find the elf next to him. The bewildered young man will have to introduce the fairy creature to the modern realities of Japan, which will be an even more fascinating process than the fantastic dreams. Fortunately, there will be no room for mundanity and boredom in his reality anymore.
