The characters study together in school and think about what they will do in adult life, which is not far off. And they also think about maintaining their relationships, as they have become close people over the years of attending school. Moreover, they have common interests, particularly in growing flowers. They see each other every day, trying not to miss the slightest opportunity to meet.
Himari has to think about finding a boyfriend after finishing school, and then think about marriage. Her friend Yuu starts to look at girls, but does not see the person next to him as his lover. They still do homework together, spend leisure time, and have conversations on various topics. They do not think about the fact that they could actually be in love with each other. And all because they do not perceive their feelings as a manifestation of friendship, without realizing that it is exactly how it is manifested. But soon they will finally figure it out and understand whether they love each other or are just friends.
