Rurouni Kenshin

The era known as Bakumatsu lasted for several years in Japan. During the overthrow of the shogunate, rivers of blood were shed, and not only the nobility at the imperial court suffered, but also ordinary people. Eyewitnesses remembered that period for a long time. After these events, peace was established in the country, but it can be disrupted at any moment by the hitokiri Makoto Shishio, as he is obsessed with seeking revenge against those who seized power. A fierce fighter against the shogunate, Kenshin, may stand in his way. Kenshin will have to temporarily leave his friends with whom he led a peaceful existence in the Kamiya dojo in Tokyo and travel to the city of Kyoto, where his comrades cannot do without him.

Once again, Kenshin encounters Shishio as an old friend, but he cannot enjoy her company. His mind is filled with thoughts of how to stop events that could harm a large number of people and prevent bloodshed again. Shishio, on the other hand, once swore that he would no longer be involved in the deaths of innocent individuals. But state coups cannot be carried out without sacrifices. He is ready to make a deal with his conscience. Neither of the two powerful opponents expected such an outcome for their conflict.
